Over-Hyphenated Completes Gazelles Navigation Training and Off-road Driving Course With NORA

Claudia and Keanna spent the weekend in the New York Catskills in the first weekend of December. They spent the first day reviewing how to use the navigational plotter, taking headings, practicing on maps, triangulating, and more. They were also able to use multiple compasses and decided settled on a mirrored-type with declination adjustment, although Morocco's is currently very slight, at less than 2° of declination.

On the second day, the pair completed a triangulation exercise and then took to the trails to practice picking their lines and spotting. The ladies agreed that the spotting practice was perhaps the biggest gain of the weekend, as it added a whole other method and level to their communication.
